Dedicated to interfaith study and dialogue

  • The interfaith Council is a community of dedicated individuals working together for the common good of people from various faiths, religions and spiritual backgrounds.

  • Individuals of the Council, centered in their own respective faiths, wish to manifest the wisdom of the world's spiritual traditions. With education, study and dialogue as their method, they wish to invoke understanding, acceptance and respect for all.

  • The Interfaith Councilís programs and activities are founded on the principle of unity in diversity. Each individual is centered in their own faith while participating and sharing in the faiths of others.

  • The Interfaith Council believes in the validity of all religions as paths to Truth. Council members welcome all to The Interfaith Peace Temple/Center for Spiritual Living and do their best to make it a center to heal, to educate, to transform and to enlighten.

  • The Council attempts to preserve and nurture the integrity of all religions and traditions and provide an environment for spiritual discussion and reflection.

  • The Interfaith Council will use resources from world faiths and provide educational programs for practical solutions to conflict, grief, injustice and other social concerns.

  • The Interfaith Council believes that there is a spiritual dimension to all life and that world faiths have a wealth of insight, understanding and hope for all.
